For all imports and exports into the UK, consignees must hold a valid EORI number to clear goods through customs. In most cases, this number is linked to a company’s VAT registration. However, if you are not VAT registered, a new EORI number will be issued for your use. Once registered, the same EORI number can be used for all future shipments, ensuring a smooth and consistent customs process.
